There are lots of cowboy outfits out there offering logs a bit cheaper than this company but as the saying goes, cheapest isn't always best. Having already had a bad experience with one load of logs last year and struggled to keep the fire alight, then being messed about by someone offering to deliver and never turning up, we decided to try Black Country Firewood. What a difference! I ordered and paid online in the morning, then within minutes I got a text to ask if they could deliver the same afternoon. They turned up on the dot and I could see that the bags were full almost to overflowing. The logs are split well and just the right size for burning in our stove. A great local company that are a pleasure to deal with.

It's been a little on the warm side so the logs are waiting for October,
when I know they will be great, as they always are. We have never bought logs from anywhere else since we had our log burner about 10 years ago.
