How long will my logs last?
Experience has shown use how long a bag or a load will last the typical customer
This is a question we are asked quite often, as some people would say it is like asking how long is a piece of string!
Ton Bag of logs

However, experience has shown us that typically a bulk bag of firewood will last a customer 6-8 weeks. Most customers that have a bulk bag will order the first in September or October (depending on any left overs from the previous year), then again for Christmas and finally in February. But beware it can be cold until April, so customers have had years of having another bag if the winter drags on.
Loose load of logs

As for the loose trailer load of logs customers tend to stock up in September and then order again in the New Year. Any logs left over from the winter can be used on those cooler summer nights, used in fire pits, pizza ovens or just stored until the following year.
These calculations are from and average customer burning every evening once they are home from work; obviously if you light the fire earlier in the day or the morning you will use more, alternatively if you just light the fire at the weekends you will use less.
Our delivery trucks run all year round, so some customers do like to buck the trend and get all their year supply delivered in the warmer summer months. However, even at the busiest time of year we tend not to have a lead time longer than one week so we are quite happy for customers to order as and when they need.
