Built from solid Scots pine, this heavy-duty wood chopping block gives you the perfect, stable base for splitting logs. Each chopping block for splitting wood is designed to absorb the shock of every strike and reduce the chance of splitting the block itself.
Measuring 350mm (H) x 350mm (W) x 350mm (D) (13” x 13” x 13”), it’s the ideal size for use as an axe chopping block helping you chop kindling or split firewood safely and efficiently. Whether you’re preparing wood for your stove or just want a sturdy log splitting base, this block makes the job easier.
All blocks are hand-finished and can be shipped nationwide with Parcelforce 24hr (select at checkout) or delivered locally when ordering logs from us.

I have been searching for a wood chopping block for ages unsuccessfully but I found the perfect one on the Black Country Firewood website.
The block is a perfect size for me (13 inches in height, width and depth).It’s solid, quality wood which is perfect for chopping large logs for firewood or just kindling and it will last ages especially as I store it undercover when not being used.
The customer service was friendly and efficient with the block arriving within days of ordering.
I was also very impressed with the price. It was £29.95 which included shipping. Well worth paying for a quality product.
