Local kiln dried logs delivered across Hagley

Black Country Firewood supplies high quality kiln dried logs for homes across Hagley and the DY9 area. Our hardwood logs are dried to a consistently low moisture content, so they light quickly, burn hotter and produce far less smoke than seasoned wood. They’re ideal for modern wood burning stoves, open fires and log burners, giving you a cleaner and more efficient fire every time.

We deliver regularly throughout Hagley, including the village centre, Worcester Road and surrounding areas, providing reliable, ready to burn firewood that’s easy to store and perfect for keeping your home warm through the colder months.

Hardwood vs Softwood logs

Hardwood is denser, burns hotter, and lasts longer — so you’ll use fewer logs. Softwood lights easily, burns brighter, and is ideal for starting fires. We recommend starting with softwood, then switching to hardwood for steady heat.

Seasoned vs Kiln Dried logs

Kiln dried logs are artificially dried to below 15% moisture, giving a hotter, cleaner burn. Our seasoned logs are stored undercover for over 12 months, averaging under 20% moisture.

How should I store my logs?

Store logs in a dry, well-ventilated space, stacked off the ground and covered on top. This keeps air flowing and your firewood ready to burn. Our log stores are the perfect solution.
