Is it going to snow? Or is it going to rain?

We are Log Men not Weather Men, but try our best in whatever the weather conditions.

Is it going to snow? Or is it going to rain?

Here at Black Country Firewood we do like to keep an eagle eye on the weather - but at the end of the day we are Log Men not Weather Men.

We do always sheet our trucks so your logs are delivered nice and dry, even if the weather is against us. We do appreciate that customers do prefer to get logs delivered on a dry day as you are the ones that are stacking the logs away. The bulk bags can be dropped from the rear of the truck straight into a garage, but with the loose loads it can be a bit more tricky to get them undercover.

We do allow customers to postpone their delivery of orders as long as we are given sufficient notice and will allow a new slot to be re-booked at no extra charge.

At this time of year though we are also battling the threat of snow. Although we do have some 4x4 trucks it can be tricky towing a trailer in the snow and some locations in the Black Country and Clent Hills can be tricky to navigate as they are prone to more weather. Due to this we assess each day as it comes, we try not to let anyone down and as always communicate with you as a customer to make sure delivery is at a convenient time for all.

We are also open 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday) for collections - rain, sun or snow! So if you find a convenient time to collect you are more than welcome to pop along and collect any quantity.
