Where do we deliver to?
We deliver locally using our own vehicles and drivers that are knowledgable and willing to help.
Black Country Firewood is located in the West Midlands and deliver our logs locally using an in house delivery service. Using in house delivery service to deliver your logs means that we can give a 1 hour time slot for delivery. It does mean that you may get the same delivery driver as we are only a small team, or be able to give a message that will be passed on to the driver so your logs are dropped exactly where they are required to be.
All our drivers are very knowledgeable of our the products and can give advice relating to your fire, so feel free to ask the driver of any queries you may have. Our drivers also like to help as much as they can where possible, although we do not stack your logs we do try to drop the logs in a convenient place.
The trucks we use are Isuzu D-Max pick-ups and we find these are great for getting down the smaller streets (especially the old quarter in Stourbridge or the terraces of Kidderminster). The trucks are only the size of a large 4x4 car and the trailers we use are no wider than the truck.
The delivery service does have a small charge dependant on how far away you live.
- Up to 8 miles = Free
includes: Kinver, Stourbridge, Wordsley, Kingswinford, Wombourne, Sedgley, Tettenhall, Penn, Bridgnorth
- 8-12 miles = £4.95
includes: Kidderminster, Cosley, Bilston, Tipton, Netherton, Brierley Hill, Codsall
- 12-14 miles = £9.95
includes: Cradley Heath, Halesowen, Coven, Wednesbury, Willenhall, Bewdley
- 14-18 miles = £14.95
includes: Smethwick, Quinton, Walsall, Bromsgrove, Stourport-on-Severn
Over 18 miles we can quote for, however as a rule we do not deliver over 1 hour drive from our base.
Chopping blocks and items up to 50kg are dispatched using the DHL “Next Day” service.
Our log stores are delivered ready assembled and if you are over the 18miles we can quote for delivery using a man in a van courier.
