On average, a layer of bark mulch will last 2 to 3 years before it needs a "top-up." Because it is a natural product, it slowly decomposes, adding vital organic matter back into your garden beds. For the best look, we recommend a light rake-over every spring

Yes! When applied at a depth of 2–4 inches (5–10cm), bark mulch is an incredibly effective natural weed suppressant. It blocks sunlight from reaching weed seeds, preventing them from germinating. For the ultimate weed-free border, we recommend laying a permeable weed membrane underneath your bulk bark mulch.

We are normally only a couple of working days away and will give you a 1 hour timed delivery slot, sometimes we can even deliver the same day! For example we will arrange to be with you on Wednesday between 9-10am.

We do not charge for the bag as we like to have them returned so we can either re-use or recycle them depending on their condition. We will collect the empty bag when we deliver next time.
